Alicia Boyd speaking at NYC Friends of Clearwater Gathering - February 21st 2020

This month, our speaker will be Alicia Boyd from “Flower Lovers Advocating for Communities” 
and “Movement to Protect the People”.  She will tell us about how the greenhouses and plants 
of the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens are being threatened by the planned construction of high-rise 
apartment towers which would block off their access to sunlight.  And she will also tell us how 
we can join with the community to fight back and help stop this!
