NYC March for Science Columbus Circle March down Broadway-New York. NY. USA-April 21st 2017-Thousands turned out today in New York City for the National and Global Science March, New York City was one of hundreds taking place across the United States and the World today.

The Rally began at Columbus Circle in-front of Trump International Hotel and was followed by a march down Broadway to 51st Street

Workers, Unions and City Council members come together to remember the 146 workers who lost there lives 106 years ago in the Shirtwaist Factory Triangle Fire Today March 24th, 2017 Marked the 106th Commemoration of The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire at the corner of Washington Place and Greene Street, NYC were 146 workers had to jump from the windows of the building to escaped the fire and smoke, leading to there deaths on the streets below-Credit: Mark Apollo/Hashtag Occupy Media The Triangle Shirtwaist factory fire of 1911– 146 people died most of whom were young, immigrant women and  was a pivotal moment in our nation’s history.
