It was less a protest then a reunion of OWS members all of whom have been fighting on a number of issues
since 2011. S17 although not a protest it was a statement that we are here and have grown into more
then just the parks and squares, and are out in the world making really change from the fight for 15, student debt, environmental fights, political and legislative, from small homes to the halls of congress we are there and fighting for true and long lasting change.
(When you hear people say get a job, tell them i do have a job, and it is fighting for real change for me, you and future generations)
Though out the day and night around 200 people filled the park for S17
The mood was high as old friends reconnected
nice to see everyone came out! happy memories! good food! yay!a shame it cannot be recreated somewhere somehow. for a 2-week festival like burning man only in a different city every year!
